Welcome to my blog! I'm Lauren and I'm married to my husband Travis. We have two daughters - Avery Elise, and Kendall Noelle. We also have a yellow lab named Ranger.
Our story in a nutshell is this: It all started when Travis and I both attended Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. We met at the beginning of our 2nd year there, and began dating in the spring of 2002. We studied abroad together in Germany later that year, and knew we were meant to be! We got married in 2005, and it was just the two of us (plus our yellow lab Ranger) for 7 years. Avery was born in 2012, and I left my job to stay home with her. We had our second daughter Kendall in 2014.
I started this blog when I was pregnant with Avery, and I have really enjoyed documenting the highlights of our lives throughout the past several years. As a family, we love being outdoors, doing home projects, and going on a few vacations every year. Personally, I love to run, and I run in several road and trail races every year, sometimes with my husband or sisters, and sometimes alone. I also enjoy reading, pretty much everything - from parenting books and fiction novels, to other lifestyle, fitness, and parenting blogs similar to mine.
