This past weekend I went to Pittsburgh to stay with my sister Lindsey, and my mom also stayed there. I was going to bring Avery, but since we've been out of our routine a lot this summer, and Travis has been traveling a lot, we decided that she would have a daddy-daughter weekend at home.
I left on Friday afternoon and arrived at Lindsey's around dinner time. Lindsey made meatball subs for dinner, and that evening we just relaxed and talked about baby names haha. We still have no real front runner names at this point, in case you were wondering.
On Saturday, we decided to go shopping at the Tanger outlets near Washington, PA. Since I didn't have Avery, Meesh decided to watch Cooper so we had a real girls' day out! My other sister Kelsey joined us and we headed to The Olive Garden for lunch, and then to the outlets. We walked all around and shopped and it was so nice and relaxing since we weren't on a baby/toddler schedule. WHO KNOWS the next time that will happen!! After shopping we went toward the South Hills for dinner, and stopped at Pottery Barn Kids on the way...just to see what was new :) Then we went to Mad Mex for dinner, and made it home in time for Lindsey to feed Cooper before bedtime. Speaking of my 6-month old nephew, he is now sleeping for 10-11 hours straight at night, and I am so proud of him (and his parents for letting him fall asleep on his own.) He is doing great and he is really cute.
On Sunday I came home early because we had Travis's family reunion. We went to the reunion where we enjoyed lots of great food, and fishing in the pond. Then we came home and went on the boat for a few hours in the evening. Avery and Ranger had fun jumping in the water, and it was a beautiful evening.
